Beautiful Waste

Before the world went into lockdown we had been working with Italian designer and maker Luisa Cevese on a new range of accessories from her innovative Riedizioni collection, made from an original material that combines textile remnants with polyurethane.

Textiles are a precious resource - we know the huge amount of time, effort and skill that goes into producing every yard so we don't want to waste a single inch if we can help it. The weaving process creates selvedges, the long edges of the fabric which help to stabilise the cloth in production, but these are usually cut off to make finished products. We have loved collaborating with Luisa to give new life to our woven selvedges, which to many could be considered a 'waste product'. Each of the pouches, cases, and purses is totally unique due to the colour combinations and placement of the remnants, which make them a very special gift (or treat to yourself!)

We are still offering free UK delivery until the end of April so it could be a good time to spoil yourself, or if it's a gift for someone special, we can take care of the gift wrapping too. We are pleased to accept international orders as well. All delivery times are longer than usual in these unusual times, so please be patient.
