Dulwich Picture Gallery - Helen Frankenthaler

As well as designing and working on our annual scarf and homeware collections, we are fortunate enough to be able to collaborate with many different international brands and designers, to produce exclusively commissioned pieces.  At the Dulwich Picture Gallery in South London 'Radical Beauty', focuses on prints by Helen Frankenthaler, a leading Abstract Expressionist who used her creative force to push the possibilities of this medium throughout her life. Many of the works have never been shown before in the UK, and for the first time ever, Claude Monet’s 'Water Lilies and Agapanthus' is being exhibited here, alongside Frankenthaler’s monumental painting 'Feather', for a one-off visual experience that shows similarities in ambition and approach. We have worked with the Dulwich Picture Gallery for many years, and the Frankenthaler scarf is our sixth collaboration. The scarf has been inspired by a work called 'Madame Butterfly', with a palette of contrasting colours taken directly from the print that showcase the woven motifs throughout the design. Emma and Harriet love the world of art and find it a constant source of inspiration, so working with galleries to create products for specific exhibitions is always a dream come true.
