Wallace Sewell x Stitch-School Workshop

We are excited to announce that we are teaming up with Melanie Bowles from the wonderful Stitch-School to bring you an evening workshop in our studio!

Stitch-School was founded in 2017 to provide professional and inspirational guidance to reconnect to the benefits of sewing through embroidery kits, workshops and community events. Stitch-School runs regular workshops teaching the skills of embroidery and repair in friendly and supportive groups.

Timed to coincide with Fashion Revolution Week 2022, this workshop will focus on the Seven Repair Stitches taught by Stitch-School - with knowledge of these you'll be able to fix almost anything, from hems, seams and zippers to patches, rips and darning (including moth holes!) Prolong the life of your clothes and woollens by repairing not replacing, because loved clothes last.

All materials and tools will be provided: each participant will receive a kit including threads and Wallace Sewell fabric to practice on and take with them after the class. Refreshments included.
The workshop will have limited places to allow space for comfort and the opportunity for individual tuition.
