RETAIL & STUDIO MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be in charge of the overall organisation, planning, provisioning, smooth running and day-to-day logistics of the shop and studio plus our online retail business. A highly organized multi-tasker, the candidate will ensure consistent, timely and seamless delivery of facilities and services for our clients and colleagues.
Experience and qualifications:
• A degree qualification in woven textile design, would be preferable, but not essential
• Ideally experience in a similar role, within a fast-paced, agile and changing environment would be preferable, but not essential
Attitude/Skills:
• Dynamic personality with a strong interpersonal communication and relation-building skills
• Forward thinking, motivated & confident, tidy & organised, able to work in a small close-knit team
• Excellent customer facing skills
RETAIL MANAGER
Responsibilities – Shop:
• Responding to customer email enquiries
• Maintaining and developing retail customer relationships and experience
• Relay customer feedback to Design team
• Organising events, workshops and sales
• Managing the shop
Responsibilities – E-commerce:
• Oversee and coordinate the dispatch of online orders
• Managing website stock inventory
• Communicating with our shipping partners to ensure orders are delivered on time
Responsibilities – Social Media:
• Assisting with planning Social Media campaigns
Responsibilities – Sales Analysis and Buying:
• Compile and analyse monthly sales data and report back to the wider team
STUDIO MANAGER
Responsibilities - Administration:
• Answering telephone and taking messages
• Managing studio@wallacesewell.com inbox
Responsibilities - General Studio:
• Managing and ordering office/studio supplies
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy studio
• Managing Interns
• Shipping/Couriers
• Assisting with packing for trade shows and events
Details:
Salary: Competitive
Hours per week: 35 hours
Working hours 9.30am – 5.30pm
