Wallace Sewell worked on a private commission for a country house in Devon, to create a monumental woven piece that was stretched and hung like a painting. Combining structural, spatial and tonal elements from their silk scarves and the rich Dartmoor and Devonshire landscape, they created a striking wall piece which is the focal point of the house’s large, central hall.
