The process from idea to realisation takes time, so each collection you see in the shop, has been in, and on, our minds for sometimes more than a year! So you might think the point of sale is the end of the story, but we know this is often just the beginning for our customers.

We love seeing how our textiles become part of your everyday life, so this week, we're sharing some beautiful ways customers have styled their Wallace Sewell pieces at home, and we hope it sparks inspiration for your own space.
Rusty Red in the Reception Room
Marc has styled his 'Emmeline' Pinstripe rug as the stunning centre piece of his Modernist-inspired lounge. We love how the overall neutral room allows the bold soft furnishings to really shine - including the colours of the rug. This rug measures 160cm x 220cm.
Pinstripes in the home office
Karen commissioned a bespoke-sized Pinstripe rug to perfectly fit her home office. We re-worked the design to retain all the colours and features of the original, and still fit this narrow space. The pale warm grey of the cabinets matches the 'Scott' colourway well, and the stripes of brights co-ordinate with the pop of orange in the stool, ensuring this office is functional and fun. Dimensions: 120cm x 270cm.
A large-scale rug for maximum impact
Emily's 'Scott' Pinstripe rug is the biggest we've made so far - 245cm x 305cm! This large open plan lounge needed a focal point to define the seating area, away from the family traffic heading upstairs. Our rugs are deep and luxurious underfoot which also creates a soft and inviting place to linger, chat or curl up with a good book. We love this space!
Is it a throw, or a work of art?
When we first saw this innovative way of styling our large Gwynne Block throw, we were seriously impressed! This customer has had her throw stretched as if it were a canvas, and she's hung it on the wall of her dining area. The bright colour palette bounces off the deep green accent wall, and is also echoed in the co-ordinated chairs. Interesting fact - the Block collection was inspired by works of art, reimagined as woven designs, so it's a full-circle moment to have it displayed on the wall like a painting in it's own right!
Double the style
Who says rugs have to stay on the floor? Why not hang them on the wall and make a bold statement! Antonia has created a diptych using the 2 different colourways from the Pinstripe rug collection. We always suggest to customers that they can mix and match within collections, to create a harmonious and interesting contrast and this wall hanging demonstrates this perfectly! These rugs are the standard size, 120cm x 180cm.
Bespoke artwork
Did you know, we can also create bespoke-sized art works, too?
Tracey wanted a feature above her bed, so she got in touch to see what we could do. Using macro details of woven motifs as inspiration, this design was increased even further to perfectly match the proportions of the headboard.
The right size
All our rugs are made to order, so as well as the standard sizes, shown on our website, we can also create bespoke sizes that will perfectly fit your home. We reconfigure the design, so it retains the key aspects of the original, just made to fit! Get in touch with the team to discuss your requirements. Please allow a lead time of 12-14 weeks for delivery. Holly quality checks all the rugs when they come back to us - we could just about squeeze the largest bespoke in the studio!
