Blocks of Beauty
Inspired by fine art, and named after 20th century architects, our signature Block collection has contemporary but timeless designs featuring a bold checkerboard of colours that will complement any interior, or be the star of the show!
The collection originally started when we were commissioned to design Lloyd and River (no longer in the collection) for furniture and design shop TwentyTwentyOne, taking inspiration from the abstract paintings of the Korean artist Chung Eun Mo. New designs have been added over the last few years so let us introduce the current eight Block designs, each with its own distinct inspiration and style...
| Lasdun uses a dynamic palette of bright red, charcoal grey, and soft pink against an earthy background, creating a sense of depth and contrast. | Antoni draws inspiration from the vibrant and rhythmic compositions of Sonia Delaunay and features a carefully balanced palette of blues, greens, and greys. |
| Inspired by the abstract paintings of Richard Diebenkorn, the Feilden design uses a fresh and tranquil palette of greens, teals, and pale blues. | Chipperfield embodies a minimalist aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the refined aesthetics of Japan. Using a warm, neutral palette of browns and greys with apricot and pale blue. |
| Cecil uses a colourway of warm pinks and reds contrasted with periwinkle blue, and was directly inspired by a visit to the beautiful Charleston House in Firle, East Sussex. | Lloyd uses a harmonious palette of soft pink and golden yellow that is beautifully contrasted with rich royal blue and subtle greys, creating a throw that feels both uplifting and refined. |

Woven from 100% fine merino lambswool and then carefully felted in post-production for a soft, compact feel, this classic collection will provide warmth and durability.
The edges of all the throws are finished with traditional blanket stitching, adding a subtle tactile detail that adds to the craftsmanship behind each piece. Available in two sizes, small: 123 x 170 cm (48 x 67”) and large: 170 x 250cm (67 x 98").
Due to pattern placement, there are different variations within each colourway of cushion, making it easy to have multiple complementary styles, without them all being identical. Cushions are generous in size, 53cm x 53cm (21" x 21") and each comes with a sheep wool-filled cushion insert included for the perfect plump.
